Best Way to Charge your Smartphone

As there are lot many new ways of charging, I always preferred the traditional way of charging by plugging it in wired. With new wireless charging, battery life span is getting reduced which I found based on my personal experience. I used to charge my iPhone on wireless chargers and the battery health done down drastically in few months.

Some Manufactures like Apple has a way of optimizing the charging process. For example, if you charge iPhones overnight first 80 percentage of battery get charged faster and last 20% will charge at a slower pace thus reducing battery over charge. It’s one of the way to protect your battery’s health.

My iPhone battery health was going down sooner when I started using wireless Qi charging. Its convenient (not by a lot though) the battery life and battery health takes a toll. During the days when I charge the battery through plugging it in, battery drain wasn’t as bad when I charge it wirelessly.

Even using wired charging overnight can be damaging your cell phone’s battery.

Below are some of the best practices to improve Smartphones battery.

1. Prefer Wired Charging over wireless charging.

2. Don’t let your battery drain to 0% often.

3. When Charging don’t do a full 100%
